Things like 'light as a feather, stiff as a board' and 'Bloody Mary'....Why do they happen...I've seen Light as a feather work...but why???

above answer slightly unfair.... black majic=interesting... learning how to give hand jobs=asking for trouble!
anyway, i don't know how it works either, but one guess is that it has something to do with demons and or angels.... i think when you are so concentrated and truly believe that what you are gonna do will work, a alternate power source can take over... demons or angels.

There is no black magic. It is a hoax. Light as a feather has a rational explanation. If people from the past were brought to the present they would think that we were all black magicians. the turning on of a light switch or the lighting of a bic lighter would be considered black magic. but, by in large, the practitioners of black magic are charlatans and flim flam men who prey on the uneducated and superstitous usually for financial gain. There is no black magic. there are only foolish people.
