does anyone here believe in bigfoot?

I think there has been 2 many sightings around the world for bigfoot to not exist.

Yes I do. For me there is something to this, with way too many detailed accounts to just dismiss it. Some day there may be proof for the scientific community, but I don't need that kind of proof to believe. I had a paranormal experience, in fact a few, and I see the looks you get when non-believers think you are nuts. I know what I experienced and no one is gonna tell me I didn't, and I assume these Bigfoot encounters these people have, feel the same way.

I'm not saying that it is impossible (I mean the mountain gorilla was thought to be a myth until early last century), but I will say this. Even if Bigfoot (or any of the "related" hominids) did once exist, one simple fact of biology stands as a question mark over their continued existence - population sustainability.

For all the apparent sightings, none of these have included more than single figures, and no evidence has ever been found of family groups which would be required for any being to sustain existence.

Does this mean they could never have existed - certainly not. It could easily have been another large form of ape or gorilla. It could even have been an off-shoot from the evolutionary process from which we ourselves descend, which we now understand was not the linear process once believed. A form of Neanderthal Man, once thought to have disappeared over 100,000 yrs ago is now thought to have survived in pygmy form to as little as 40,000 yrs ago on the Indonesian island of Flores.

As to the sightings? The human mind is wonderful thing...we tend to see what we want to see. How many alien sightings have we heard of, or Christians and other religious ilk who will swear to sightings of angels and demons....and don't get me started on the numerous Elvis sightings! Just because a few ppl claim to have seen something does not itself mean an awful lot. In fact one has to ask, if there have been so many sightings, why is there still do documented proof?? You be the judge of that one.

I think it is a possibility.. Or.the whole world might be suffering a mass delusion!! That is what the Bigfoot debunkers want us to believe!!! Those people are the crazy ones...LOL I believe that there is something out there...you're right; there have just been too many sightings!

I have been studying, researching, investigating bigfoot since about 1969 (I started very young). Through that time the mountain of evidence has only increased my belief that it is the real deal. I even had an encounter one night. My brother and I were camping in the Bluff Creek area where the term bigfoot was coined and later the film strip shot by Roger Patterson was made. My brother got bit by a mouse while sleeping and he woke up screaming out in pain and anger. I had a good laugh when the mouse was ran out of his sleeping bag and he said something like the %6$#^ thing bit me and he charged after it in the brush stomping away. Anyway, a few seconds after everything calmed down and my bro laid down I heard something approaching us on the dirt road. You could hear the ground crunching under its feet. It was obviously walking on two legs. The obvious size of the thing really terrified me but I held my ground. It got louder as it approached. I thought that any second it would appear on the road in front of us but instead it just got impossibly louder. Finally my brother and I could take no more and jumped into the car and sped out of there in terror. I spent many nights camping and was a sergeant in the infantry but nothing ever scared me like that thing and I never even saw it. I wish I could go back and stand my ground a little longer to see this thing, but it is easy to say when you are in the comfort of your home. When you are in the deep woods at night and hear a huge bipedal thing sneaking up on you in the woods, it is pretty scary. Anyway, our encounter was very mild compared to many I have read or heard about. Bigfoot is real. It is amazing and unbeleiveable, I know, but it is out there. It is nocturnal and very wary.

I know for certainty, That Bigfoot does exist and well as the yeti....... To explain why would would take tons of paperwork to explain. But believe this or not the Bigfoot is a protected species and you will feel like you ran into a brick wall trying to get a permit to hunt one........... Now to get a permit to find one is easy, But if you do you can not bring one back to be studied is a strick no no. Why who know, So no you are not alone for there are plenty of other who believe as you do....................

In Australia they call a Bigfoot a Yowie and there apparently have been many sightings by many people.. I havnet experienced myself.. but there are many parts of the world that havent been set foot on by modern man (probably a really good thing). Who knows whats out there, but when i see it I'll believe it.

Yes. There is much more to the world than meets the eye. But most people have been conditioned that it is wrong to even toy with the idea of anything outside of the ordinary/accepted.

I knew a native american kid named Dennis who was a few years older than I was who said he observed a bigfoot on his grandfathers acreage killing livestock. This was back in 1974,,,and the kid wasn't bsing, he was serious.
