Probably African. I would want to see Cape buffalo in the wild, hippos, Nile crocodiles (with binoculars and from a safe distance), and other wildlife. Asia would be nice too, but I'd pick Africa first.

Definately depends on what you are looking for. If you want lions, tigers, elephants, famine & thousands dieing from HIV then it is Africa. If you want nice people, pretty girls and good food then it is Asia. Having said that, I have to admit that I am probably a bit biased. I currently live and work in South Korea where I have found some of the nicest people anywhere in the world. I have lived and worked in much of Asia including Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, and of course South Korea. I have visited Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philipines, the Marianas Islands and the US territory of Guam. Having said all of this, my personal recommendation is not Africa or Asia. I recently spent a month in Australia and that is it. I never met a stranger there. The Aussies were very friendly and I genuinely think they appreciate you coming to their country. I did not spend any time in the larger cities but was mostly in the outback of Queensland. Loved every minute of it and if I was younger I would immigrate to Australia. I told my wife "I could kick my *** for taking so long to come to Australia".

Since you're a soldier(according to your name) I would assume you've seen enough war or experienced enough battle practice to not want to be exposed to it unnnecessarily. There are precious few African countries that aren't experiencing some type of conflict and as such are less than inviting to people from Western nations, especially with the current overall attitudes towards us. Two countries, South Africa(dangerous areas, even there!) and Namibia come to mind.
As for Asia, I've been to Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand and the Philippines and never had a bad hour, let alone trip...I'd have to go with Asia, if what you're looking for is fun and relaxation!

For sight seeing, I'd prefer African country. There is no place in earth which has different feel and pleasure of nature. For personal learing and business, I'd prefer India since its the only country where you will find multiple cultures, more than 400 languages, but still people get along together as one with providing more hospitality and caring even under the toughest of situations.

I stay in South Africa and would not like to travel to another African country. As for Asia I think I would like to go and see and to take the word of God to people who don't know Him,

Definetely!
Phillipines- my parents are from there (though I'm not full, I'm also part European), I would like to appreciate my heritage and culture.
Japan- I love the culture and would especially like to see the old shrines, palaces, and all that tourist-y stuff, as well as cherry blossom viewing and experiencing pop culture too of course.
China- One of the world's oldest civilizations, basically for the same reasons as Japan, all the touristy stuff, plus the fact that I am part Chinese and would like to know my roots more
Thailand, India, Bali, Singapore. . .I love travel. I want to visit them all!
Africa- I'd definitely go. Why? Like I said, I love travel. I love learning about new cultures and new languages and new foods and new sights and new sounds. ;) Run-on sentence. Anyway. . . I am a citizen of the world! I don't want to stay in my comfort zone. I like adventure and when you are pushed to your limits, you grow more and develop a stronger character.

I would go to Kenya, because it is where I have lived for nearly 10 years. It has problems of course, but it has a lot going for it and the people are very pleasant. A visitor should try to get out of the hotel and coach as much as possible.
