How can I install programs on the iPAQ pocket PC?

I just bought the iPAQ from my friend but then i'm not satisfied with the programs installed. I just want to add more softwares specially references.

Use the activesync docking station and drag'n'drop programs into the directories or use the programs self installer to send it to the iPac via the activesync.
