This itinerary works well:

- Start the Charles Bridge,
- Walk across the bridge to Mala Strana
- Stop by the green-domed St. Nicholas Church
- Follow the street up castle hill.-
- Prague Castle.
- Golden Lane, the Basilica of St. George, and several art museums.
- Walk down the hill through the Prague Castle Gardens.

The city's best live venue. The theatre bar has great small DJ sets and a fun, but tight dance floor.

Stay at the Hotel St. George(4 stars) or the King George Hotel(U krále Jiřího). They both run about 75-80 Euros a night, but if the Attic rooms are available in the King George, it's huge and the rafters are wooden, giving it that medievel feeling. Dating from the 14th century, this beautiful hotel on Liliova St. was once a royal residence. It's been a while since I was there, but I had a great time and would go back again in a minute. Close to all the fun spots(I'm not sure what you're into), it's easy to walk to everything. Just make sure you book the attic room in advance and be specific. This ain't the Motel 6 and they tend to be a little lax on protocol when you arrive as an impromtu guest.

I was in Prague for a couple days last spring, so I can relate to the brevity of your stay. When I traveled there with a friend, our favorite memories included a small night concert in the castle. We love music, and the mixture of classical music, twinkling stars, and an old fortress was beautiful.

The Charles Bridge is very famous, and thus it is usually very crowded. On the first day of our stay, we visited it mid-afternoon, and although it was pretty, it was just too packed. The next day we left the hotel at 6:30 am, and the bridge was deserted. Needless to say, we enjoyed it so much more.

As for other special memories, find a great restaurant (our favorite was a crepe place right next to the Charles Bridge) or talk to a concierge at a pricey hotel to find more fun events.

Have fun!
