it takes a simple thing, for a whole lot of people to believe that the person said something really really wise and insightful or some what puzzling that could have deep connotation to peoples general lives. A philosopher is, I think, more characterized as a person who can, to an extent, read people's personalities or the general whole of humanity and then summarize his or her findings in a way that at the very least makes the person sound intelligent. philisophical words are words that everyone can relate to wether they know it or not, in the latter they would most likely be described by the words and not see it.

The words must make a connection with the one who interprets them to be considered philosophical. The reader who critiques the speaker transforms the speaker to the philosopher.

The term philosophy comes from the Greek for “love of wisdom".

One way to describe philosophy is “disciplined inquiry.” Despite the need for passion, that passion still needs to be disciplined, lest it get out of hand and lead us astray. The fact that philosophy is a type of inquiry, however, emphasizes the fact that it is about asking questions — questions which, in fact, may never actually get final answers.

Philosophy is the natural inheritance and creation of our humanity. It is what we do because of who and what we are. We are philosophizing creatures, and we will always be engaged in philosophy in some form. The goal of academic philosophy should be to encourage people to do philosophy in a more systematic and coherent manner, reducing the extent of errors and misunderstandings.
