In my opinion Dr. Rice is a gofer and couldn't run or be president. She just doesn't have it. Neither does Hillary. Choosing a president in two years is going to be a very tough choice. There aren't too many people out there who are worthy of the top position in the country. It is a very tough job and merely intelligence isn't enough. It takes a person with special skills in dealing with people, not only Democrats and Republicans but heads of state around the world. It takes a Ronald Regan!

Until now Condoleezza Rice has just been Bush's straw(wo)man, acting as his mouthpiece and only doing his bidding. She has not been caught at independent creative thinking yet.
So the answer - unless she proves the contrary - is that she is and will not be good candidate.

I think Dr. Rice is way too smart to be put in that situation. She is effective in the position she now holds.
I would vote for her if she ran, but she has already stated that she will not be running. Sooooo..............hmmmm

She will be rightly identified with the policies of the Bush administration. As time goes on, this will be more and more of a negative.
I'm a Democrat, but I wouldn't like her to be the Republican nominee. The country needs 2 good candidates to choose from.

Anyone with an oil tanker named after them, at their previous place of employment has no business being President of this country because you just know where their loyalty lies.
So no I dont think she should run and I dont think she would make a good President.

This woman is even more prone to mendacity than the current pResident. I can never believe what she is saying. Can you imagine how bad she'd be if she thought she had any real power?

The reason being NEITHER ONE COULD BE ELECTED DOG CATCHER.
Excuse me, I like dogs.
