The best way to hold on to a person, is to be something they want to hold on to. Voila!

I wish I could have held on tighter. I've lost so many people in my life and I'm only 28. My father passed away in 2002 and my brother passed away in 2004 my sisters a meth addict and she keeps her kids from seeing either my mom or myself. I lost all my personal possessions in hurricane Katrina and i barely escaped new Orleans with my soul intact now I'm living in a camp trailer that's older than I am somewhere in the middle of Alabama. But I'm closer to my mom and I got a great dog out of the deal. Now I tell everyone how much they mean to me everyday and I never let an opportunity to show a kindness to a stranger slip my grasp. I hold onto each moment with a force of will that I can't explain to you. Every breath counts and I thank god every moment I remember to for letting me live in his house no matter how bad it hurts. I hold onto the perfect moments in time and I let the people and places come and go.

holding on to them just make it more painful when they are gone. cherish each moment that you have with the things or people that you have in your life now because you will never know when the Great Creator will take them away from you. you will never know when they will slip away. like i said, cherish the moments, and so when they leave you can tell yourself that you have spent time with them and have shown them how they important they are while they're still with you. let go and thank God for the memories.

I let them go.......

If I've left the kind of impression that I hope I have, they will figure out what they need and come and let me know. If it wasn't meant to be, they have the right and need to find what is right for them. I will always make sure they know how I'll miss them....
But I will let them go find the answer.

It's hard because if you tighten your grip it may fasten up their slip away from you...

I guess the best thing to do is be yourself around that person...Let fate decide...

The best way to hold onto them is to set them free.

make the most out of it even for the shortest period of time, then let go, that may sound selfish, but i'll just try my best to chase it as much as i can, be stumbld n pushd...at least i tried my best to hold on to it. but once its gone, for me, its no turning back...

I don't think you can hold on to anything, I think you have to let it go free if it comes back to you then it your forever.

I don't try.
I face the reality & move on.
I keep them in spirit.
