She is leaving childhood behind and is on her way to becoming a young woman... so instead of buying a 'gadget' that will break down, or go out of date quickly, why not buy her a beautiful gold or stirling silver bracelet (or is it a bangle? the rigid item, anyway!), and on the inside engrave her name? She will still have that gift when she is an old lady, and every time she wears it she will remember you and when it was given to her.

OOO my favorite words "Price doesn't matter"!
If she is a mature young lady
A strand of Pearls
A nice Garnet or Peridot ring (Christmas colors)
A new laptop
A horse
A gift certificate to an upscale store (how bout a locally owned and operated one because they usually carry unique items)

I like the idea of a nice piece of gold jewelry that she can keep forever. Add a gift card to Bath & Body works. My 13 year old grandaughter loves that place.

Since every teen girl is different, get her a Visa gift card. She will be able to use it at any store or restaurant that accepts Visa. Also, she can shop via internet, and pay with the gift card. That way she can get what she wants or needs, and she won't be limited to just one store.

This is my daughter's wish list. She's 14.
Odds and ends for her pony like a diamantee headband spelling out its name.
Timberland boots.
A Bench handbag.
A necklace with a big open heart on it.
Ghost perfume.
A D&G watch.
Some hoody tops - for horse riding.
Eeyore pyjamas.
A cd (sorry - forgot which one.)

That's her WISH list, anyway.

A gift cheque, but only for a reasonable amount, so that she can have the pleasure [and importance !] of being the sole purchase-decision maker, and indulge in buying whatever her young impulses dictate at the moment !
:-))

I agree with the gift card/voucher if you don't know what her interests are.

Try and get those ones which can be spent in a variety of shops, like ones for any shop in a particular shopping centre.
