Silk is quite a strong fabric but a lot of it is not well dyed. It can be washed and probably the best start is a soak in warm water with a mild detergent. that does not work one of the proprietary stain removers for silk can be tried but test it on a part of the garment that will not be seen first

Curry can be very dificult because the oil and spices can dye the material. Some supermarkets sell special "dry cleaning" stain removers for silk..... you could try those.

Try baby wipes. I'm serious. they work for most types of stains although I admit I have never tried curry stains. Give it a try it can't hurt.

Try wetting the stain area with water and then using your bar of bathing soap (say Lux, Palmolive etc) clean away the stain by slowly rubbing it with the soap lather .
