Will there be an uprising if and when he is sentenced?

I still don't understand why they didn't remove Saddam from power without all of the war and destruction of innocent people.
I also don't know why they took him out of that spider hole alive. Another waste of tax dollars.

It depends if they are Sunni (who won't) or Shia (that will). It would probably be better if he'd been killed at the time he was captured. He is a rallying point for dissent at the moment. Then the Iraqis might be more interested in building a new future rather than raking up the past.

Who know's. Saddam won't accept the senrencing, and he should have been tried by the World Court, not a stacked Bush deck!

I dont think they really care as long as he does not come back into power. We should just release him in the middle of Bagdhad in the nude and let the citizens take care of him.

i have been watching his trial and i don't see that it has been at all fair.
