Give your silver molly a happy life by doing the following:
1. Make sure he lives in a tank with enough space for open swimming and for hiding places (aquatic plants, caves, decorations, etc.). Tank size should be 1 gallon of water per 1 cm of adult fish size. Mollies typically grow up to 6 cm.
2. Get 2-5 mollies if you have space. Mollies are peaceful shoal fish, they love schooling with tank mates of their own species. They live happier and longer lives when they have a group to swim with.
3. Feed him with fish flakes and other fish food. Never feed him anything else (even biscuits, bread and other human food). Crush the flakes to bits so the molly can chew properly.
4. Use an air pump and water filter. Replace 10-20% aquarium water every week. These will ensure sufficient air supply and water quality for your fish.
On a sidenote, mollies typically live for only 2-3 years. So enjoy them while they're with you.
Happy molly keeping!

Stop feeding them biscuits. Biscuits pollute water. In the wild, mollies eat vegetable matter so in the aquarium, flake food is recommended. Mollies are quite hardy ( except those hybrids like the "balloon" mollies) and they are school fish so it's better to have many of them in the tank. Here in the Philiipines, it's a tradition to put a tablespoon of rock salt per 3 gallons of water in a molly tank since mollies are known to live in brackish waters. A pH of 7.0 is ok .

You need to go to a fish store and ask. No idea what you're doing wrong - you can't get this sort of answer from people here. Maybe look up the type fish on the web - that might help. Read about how to take care and see how differs from what you're doing. Right temp? Right water pH? Not putting in tap water with chlorine are you? Enough air in water?
Really, you want to get these answers BEFORE you get your fish, but even if other one dies you can research then start over. Fish are cheap.

No wonder it died, dumb and dumber. Feed it fish food. Ask the pet store all about that and get a book that tells you all about it. I am a fish lover and hate to hear that stuff, and the way you think you are t aking care of your fish. You are taking care of them all right, to die.

Go to a pet store and get more info and the right equipment there. However, most people go through about three tanks of fish before they get to where the fish no longer die.

Mollys are not hard to keep...First thing is water ...must be clean and right temp. ....next is food ...You must use FISH FOOD not biscuits or bread...try reading books about fish , or ask your local pet store clerk for help.
