installed PC game "full spectrum warrior" (3 cd's) plus downloaded the demo on-line and also directx 9.0c. my screen pops up "direct3d error, create device failed".

I guess your graphic card does'nt support directx 9.0c

Before you buy a game any pc platform, compare the requirements for hardware on its box. Most say what class and type of vid-cards it runs on, and if your card isn't on the box...you prolly wont' be playing it.
A good low-end gaming card is a GeForce 6200oc. 256mb, plays damn near anything and is less than 200 bucks!
