When you totally believe in almost all conspiracies and jump at every sound. The sight of blue cars sends you into a brief comatose state and you just know that cops have your house bugged so you whisper. Trees or the spirit of trees have been talking to you. The neighbors dog also told you to rob the Seven Eleven. The only way you can go to sleep is to rock yourself in a rocking chair. And that is just the beginning...ha ha ha ha ha.....

in yourself i dont knwo that you would really recognise it,people who are insane very very rarely will ever beleive they are insane , if someone tells them they are they will deny it. so pretty much if you think your goin insane then your probably not, alot of weird feelings and thoughts can go through your mind and it doesnt mean your insane, if you are disturbed by them then you are more likely to be suffering from anxiety.
now if your referring to someone else and how you might recogniose insanity in them i would guess (and yeah im just guessin) that irrational behaviour would be the first indication,they would do things that were very odd , delusional and some people see things or become paranoid for no good reason.i think it could be easy to mistake someone suffering from one of the many mental illnesses related to ocd or depression/anxiety and think they are possably begining to go insane, they might do alot of odd things or act irrationally. best thing to do if you are afraid someone you know may be having some problmes in that way would be to confront them about it as nicely and supportivly as possable and try to convince them to talk to a professional about it.
