The British never design a car with burnouts in mind. Maybe the oil pump seized up. Pumping oil to 12 cylinders is not easy.
If you wanted to do burnouts, maybe you should bough a mustang.

450bhp.... All that money and you have an automatic with only 450bhp....

1st, off make sure its fully in the park setting. Next, try to turn the wheel in both directions, as it might have locked.
Other than that, it could be anything. I have an old jaguar which has an inertia switch near the brake pedal. Check if your aston has something like that
