I have recently read that Emma Watson, the girl who plays "Hermione" isn't sure wether she wishes to do the 6th and 7th movies. Personally she's my favorite character/actress in the series. Would a change of actresses playing Hermione change your enjoyment of the movie?

Aww don't say that that's horrible. I loooove Harry Potter! But I've read the books so regardless I know what's happening. If they change the character though, especially Emma, then it's almost not worth going ya know? It just wouldn't be the same. No good movies with sequels change the main characters! :-(

At first, I didn't care much for her acting, but I think over the years Emma has become Hermione that I don't know if I could accept a new one. I didn't read the books until after I saw all the movies up to Azkaban, so when I started the books I really only imagined the actors from the movies as the characters in the books. I would still see the movie, but it might be hard! I usually hate when sequels have different actors as the same character (ie, Julianne Moore as Clarice Starling.....just did NOT work for me!)

It would be difficult to get used to but I'm sure they would choose a suitable replacement should Emma decide she doesn't want to continue with the movies.
We already have had 1 major actor replaced in the Harry Potter movies. In HP1 & 2 Richard Harris played Dumbledore, but sadly he passed away from Hodkin's Disease. The most recent actor to play Dumbledore is Michael Gambon. This was a slight shock but I think that Michael is doing a fine job.

I think she's still going to do the 6th and 7th movies but she's unsure as to whether or not she wants to continue as an actress for a living. It wouldn't be the same without Emma but I would still watch the other movies. I wish we could have still had Richard Harris as Dumbledore .But the one I would miss the most would be Alan Rickman as professor Severus Snape. No one can do Snape like him and he has become my favorite character. yeah, I know , but he's so mean he's actually funny.

i think it would be better if they changed her because to be honest she isn't the best actress out there. i mean i am not blowing my own trumpet but i could have easily played the part of hermione, when the film first started out because I was the right age and everything and i can actually act. but you know the movie industry is very fickle and they only cast the lead parts as people who they think will be accepted on the big screen. I don't know if any one esle has noticed this, but i wonder why they haven't cast any people of colour as the main leads..... i think they should bring some new characters of colour in the film as leads rather than using sterotypical looking poeple in order to please society and make it acceptable.

i imagine the present solid pulls off their respected roles truly properly. i imagine they are an fairly solid ensemble. If I had to interchange each and every man or woman it would want to be Michael Gambon with Richard Harris (the unique Dumbledore), yet which couldn't ensue when you consider that he's regretfully deceased now. After staring at Richard Harris in the first 2, i detect that Michal Gambon is too energetic and energetic in the hot ones. He is going too quick. Dumbledore, i imagine, is meant to be old and fragile, yet nevertheless radiates such means that you does no longer doubt he might want to nevertheless protect himself.

It depend on their acting. I don't think she was good enough although fair enough to be there. But they need a forceful character there.
Dont take any offense, i am lover of Harry Potter series and also films regardless of it's origin.

I would but that is because I am a die-hard HP fan. Those that are die-hard don't really care about the actors. I would be upset since I have gotten used to them. I think the only one that would REALLY upset me is if Robbie Coltrane, Hagrid, had quit. To me, he IS hagrid. But I would still watch the movies. Unless Paris Hilton was in it...

I think it would really change things & I would not enjoy the film so much because she is very good at her part and I would find it difficult if someone else was playing her part. It would defintly take the edge of the film for me.
