Evil originates from sin. Sin is an unpleasant word, so is evil. The Bible said that all have sinned. Hence, evil is a trait, that can be expressed by anybody, for example cheating, backstabbing, and some may include lying.

You can't kill the evil inside a human being, the evil can only be purged from a human being, through the power of Jesus Christ. Jesus washed away our sins with His precious blood. As we grow deeper in our relationship with Him, we will develop the traits of Christ. That's when our previous "bad" or "evil" traits start to diminish and disappear.

Because we live in a world that breeds good traits like charity, hospitality, and evil traits, God's power can help us overcome and defeat the temptation of slipping back to our old ways.

Hence, my answer is, God's power can purge the evil within us if we allow Him and are willing to change to let the character of Christ develop in us.

That depends on if you are talking about yourself or someone else. Each person can only work on themselves. We can not change anyone else. We each have free will and we can not go against that.

If you are talking about yourself this is what I would say: From a Christian POV, you allow Jesus to come into your heart and life. Then you do things to deepen your relationship with Him. Over time you will be transformed into the image and likeness of Jesus.

If you are talking about how to deal with an evil person, that is a very difficult question. From a psychological POV I would say that you should stay clear and not put yourself in harms way either physically or emotionally. From a philosophical POV and a Christian POV, we do not respond to evil with more evil. You do not kill, either physically or any other way. We respond to evil with Love. This is all very easy to say, but very hard to do. Jesus told us to "do not return evil for evil". I think that the reason for this is that when we do unto others as they do to us we increase the amount of evil in the world. We all want the world to be a better place and to do so each of us must contribute to the Love in the world and not add any more evil.

You can't. Good and evil are locked in a bond that can't be broken. There is a balance. In some the balance may tip more to one than the other. You have as much evil in you as good. How you choose to live is what you determine. Not what evil determines. Instead of thinking in terms of good and evil, try to think in terms of choice. It is a choice that you make when you decide how you want to live your life. Evil has no more or no less power than good. It is just how you perceive things. If you are an evil person, you could very well believe you are good, and think good is evil. It is all how you look at it as you make your choice.

No evil is not part of us, it was forced apon us. Not by Lucifer, the same thing happened to him, but by something far worse. I can say no more on this subject.
If the evil is a demon, have it cast out. If not the only way to cast out evil is to seek out the source and destroy it, but that would be really bad you would need a weapon not created in this universe. Unfortunately there is a 100% chance you would die attempting to get such an item.
I'm sorry i'm a christian, and I know for a fact God can cast out evil created by Lucifer, but not true evil. He has no power over it.
Love will not defeat evil. True evil only understands power and only power can destroy it.
If you can't live with it, don't kill yourself then it will win.
No earthly thing can fight evil. It will only enrage it make
it more harmful. You must fight it with all your might otherwise
you will lose.

First you have to accept that there is no need to kill the evil inside me. Then you have to accept that there is no evil inside me. Then you have to accept that there is no evil. And finally you have to accept that what you see is a form of love that you have not yet developed the ability to comprehend. This is the strongest way to kill the evil inside me.

definitely not fighting it koz u give it more power.Try to cultivate inside u the opposite qualities, like when u feel like harmin someone, through discipline, act the opposite way. Instead of anger act with gentleness, instead of hatred with understanding, instead of envy with frienship and so on...it.s just a matter of exercise..good luck!

the only way is to cast it away is in Jesus' name. the name of Jesus scares all unholy things away. Just saying Jesus' name will take evil away from you. That is part of the reason why Jesus died on the cross for us.
