Since you need money to open a business account, I would say this would be a good opportunity to open that account!

You can endorse the check by signing the name that the check is written to and then under it sign your name as the person cashing it; however, if you have a legitimate business, use that check to open a business account with. Bring a copy of your Tax ID or business license with you to the bank. You really should keep your personal and business records seperate for tax purposes. While at the bank get a credit card in your name and make the business an authorized user. That will help the business establish credit and the credit card statements will show tax deductbile purchases... keep them!!!

go person whom wrote the cheque and have it rewritten to your comapny /co your name. that way the bank will know it is for you and open an account while you are there
