Tonight me and my husband went out for a bit. My back was hurting so bad it felt like I had the wind knocked out of me. Also my ribs hurt so bad if they aren't in constant pain there is a tingling in my rib weird, I know. When we got home I had a bath and the feeling of the wind being knocked out of be turned into lower back pain. Does anyone have any suggestions and unless you think this is severe no doctor comments please I will be going soon.

HI

Well hopefuly you are up reading this

Hon, You could be in preterm labor.. Yeah I know.. LABOR??!

But its possible... your symptoms are consistent with that

You did not say if you have 1 baby or twins or any other risk factors for premature delivery...

Or if thisis your 1st child...

Whatever the case...... IF IT WAS ME
Id go in and hav it checked... because IF you are in labor early .. your baby could be experiencing stress, lying on the cord who knows.. the only way to know this is for them to take a peek at him or her and hook you up to a monitor

Better safe than sorry... Youve made it this far... you are almost to the end .. it would be a horrible thing to have it go wrong now because you dont get checked.

Try Urgent care or teh ER if you have a ride.. else the reg doctors in a few hours... I would not wait too long though!

Good Luck

Sounds like the babies foot or something is in your ribcage, go on all fours and crawl around this usually moves the position of the baby.
You say that it has now turned into lower back pain, it sounds like you are in slow labour to me hun. This can go on for some time or it can stop all together. You are only 34 weeks but if your baby did come now it would be fine.
When you go see your dr, they may refer you to hospital and want to keep you in, so I would take your delivery bag with you and aload of magazines.
Good luck with everything x

I can probably explain the tingling. With my daughter I lost all feeling but tingling in my upper thigh for the last 4 months. Apparently she had decided to sit her cute little butt on one of my nerves. The rest could either be just be late pregnancy pain or it could be signs of early labor. : ) I hope that helps a little. Good Luck!!

Get your self to the doc quickly! Don't let them jerk you around an send you home either. I had the same thing,, they said it was just preterm labor, gave me meds and sent me home. the next morning i stood up from bed..thought my water had broken an it was all blood!! I had hemoraged.. my placenta had essent. torn loose from the wall of my uterus an that's why i went into preterm labor the night b4! GOOD LUCK!! but make them really check you out...OK!

I think the baby is lying on a nerve. Personally I would get on all fours and see if you can move the position of the baby.

have you had any blood? or water ? you could be in labour if you can go to sleep then don't worry to much but if it gets worse and continues or you have the blood show then you may well be needing to go in to hospital ,don't rush wait and see if it gets worse.
