Ah Mexico, it can be beautiful and you're worst nightmare if you're not careful. First petro (gas) always costs a little more than here ok. My dad is retiring next year and we figured that after he gets settle with all the furniture he could probably live with $400 a month at the most. If he buys car, eats out a lot, where he buys his clothing will make a big difference. Good clothing costs the same as it does here when its not on sale or clearance ok. When I go down to Mexico, I always take clothing for relatives there because there are great sales here a few times a year. Renting an house can cost you around $60, depending on where its located. Nicer places will go for about $150 a month or more depending on the size also. As for food, vegetables and fruits are really cheap there unless its imported from another country. Meat and chicken is kind of expensive, because all i ever find there are skinny chickens. Eating out will costs you about a $5 to 6 bucks, if you stuff yourself at a regular place. If you go for a trendy spot about $15 -20 bucks a person. In Mexico, I get around locally with taxis, buses are cheaper, but I don't like waiting much. I rent a car sometimes for three days adn split the bill with my friend, when i want to travel to other towns to do things. come back to my town, just travel by taxi again. Cars are good to own, but its additional expense that I couldn't justify if I lived in a city. I don't know about fishing, farms or varmits in that area. I travel to San Luis Potosi and Guanajuato mostly.

Renting a house it´s much more expensive you don´t want to live in a place where you pay 60-150 dolars. A decent house would be like 250-300.

What are we talking about there is poverty all over the world and oppression and human rights violations all over the world. we even have oppression and poverty in America. all of our companies are moving to the far east or mexico, plus illegals bilk our economy and send a large portion of their tax free money back to mexico. i,m tired of my taxpayer dollars, housing, feeding, educating, medicating and giving them free reign while i,m struggling to put food on the tablle, taking care of my kids education and healthcare, if its so bad in mexico let the people revolt like we did 200 years ago to free us from the chains of dictatorship, poverty and oppression. you can run but you cannot hide stand up and fight and take our country back.well, i love mysa, the 5 year old gets to jump in line ahead of mexican kids to learn english while the citizen child has to go across town to another school or wait another year. you miss my point the people in darfur can,t jump across the ocean to get here but their plight is much worse. plus the mexicans get tax credits, business opportunities and drive illegal because cops are forced to turn their heads, i,m not without compassion but you don,t treat strangers or neighbors better than your own citizens or children.
