No your not being tracked by the FBI u downloaded a virus. My friend got a letter in the mail from ISP or FBI try to scare him from downloading of limewire. but it was a warning if he got caught again he would be fined.

Sounds like a prank. In any case, I would run an anti-virus on the computer.
By the way, downloading music and videos IS sharing them. You ARE breaking the law.

Okay, first of all, don't believe anything that says on the web... i mean do you really think the FBI has the time to check everyone using limewire? i think not... second of all you where lucky, they (it seems to)shut down that site before it wormed you or something but just in case i would backup my data and format my computer... Good luck.... and for the FBI don't worry you won't have swat climbing on your roof right know lol

Most likely: con artist which first tries to scare people, than offers their service for fee which promises to protect them from FBI. Considering that don’t know where you from hard to say, still if its USA, you are asking for troubles as both ISPs and organization known as RIAA are known to conducts quite controversial practices in peruse of piracy.

Check your computer for viruses and change your passwords. The FBI thing is a hoax but by logging into the site you put your computer at risk. It should be ok if your protection is up to date.
