Some people experience symptoms very early in pregnancy... it could very well be that. When you are looking for a pregnancy test, read the labels before purchase. Make sure you get an "early detection" one.

No harm in calling to make a doctor's appointment straight away... under these circumstances you'll want to keep the appointment whether you're pregnant or not.

If you were trying to achieve pregnancy, then I hope it's all good news. All the best to you.

Edit: PS. You've probably thought of this yourself... but if there's any hint that you are still feeling faint... ask your partner or someone else to drive you on these errands.

If you are a week over due for your period, if you are pregnant, the hormone that is released by your body when you are pregnant will be strong enough for a test to detect. I feel you should take a home pregnancy test and if the result is positive, you then can make an appontment as soon as possible with an OBGYN. Best wishes!!!

I would say go get the home pregnancy test, but I'm concerned about your fainting and rapid heart beat. I advise you to see your doctor, ASAP. And to tell them everything. If they don't have all the information, they can't help you.

Honey, go get a test at the store. The tests are better than they were. And go see a doctor. It could be something else.

Sounds as if congratulations are in order to me. There are several things it could be. When I was pregnant the first signs were breast pain and dizziness and overall exhaustion.

Good Luck!
