I'm afraid that she wants to make fun of kids at her school, and I don't want her to bully or ostracize others. Should I encourage her to rethink this?

Let's see......You are her parent......do you try to encourage her to do the proper things in her life,mold her into becoming a young adult, or do you just let her do her own thing.......taking these things in mind-I dont think you'll have a hard time trying to decide what to do.

You should let your daughter dress Goth. A teenage daughter needs to express her feelings, whether it be through music, fashion, or writing. As long as the Goth dress isn't too raunchy or violent, let her. It'll do her good. Besides... it's only for one night. Is that too much to ask?

That's a HUGE instult to people who are normally gothic. If it were my kid, I'd say no. Not for a Halloween costume.
