It depends how bad your condition is. If you can't speak, then sadly there is no quick fix. Vocal Rest is your best option. If you are feeling hoarse, I would suggest some things that will also aid in the prompt healing of laryngitis.
1) buy a Vicks steam inhaler, the one that plugs in. Use it 3 times daily with eucalyptus oil.
2) Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water daily.
3) Loquat Honey. It's a specialized honey from the loquat fruit. It's medicinal and tastes nothing like regular honey. You can find it in Asian food markets or sometimes whole foods
4) get proper sleep
6) Throat Coat tea or any herbal licorice tea. add fresh ginger
7) Advil (reduce inflammation)
8) Gargle with sea salt and turmeric
9) try a moisturizing throat spray like entertainers secret. Nothing with alcohol.
10) don't speak until you are absolutely required to

Home treatment is usually all that is needed for laryngitis. This includes resting your voice, adding moisture to your environment (humidification), taking throat lozenges, avoiding smoking or exposure to secondhand smoke, and drinking fluids.
Depending upon the nature of your voice problem, speech training or modification may be a part of your treatment. Your doctor may send you to a speech-language pathologist (speech therapist) for this. This type of therapy helps you learn new methods of talking or how to change bad habits that can cause recurring laryngitis and other problems. Using proper voice technique also helps your larynx heal.
Vocal cords that have been damaged, such as by sores or polyps, may require surgery.

I would recommend sipping warm tea with honey in it. Also try relaxing. Sometimes relaxing your throat muscles can help bring back a voice. It also depends on what is causing the laryngitis. If it is siezed vocal cords - the relaxation and warm compresses will help. If it is strained vocal cords - that will take a bit more time - but try resting your voice as much as possible and drinking the warm tea. Sometimes gargling with Listerine helps. Also Cloreseptic spray and lozengers will help as it has a numbing effect on your throat. Good luck and hope your voice comes back soon.

Rest it completely, resist "clearing your throat" and sip soothing, warm drinks. If you don't recover fully before the concert, pass on it knowing that you can sing another day. It's better than to damage your voice. I know of a lawyer who was told to lay off speaking until he recovered from laryngitis but he felt he had to go in to argue a court case. It ruined his voice, putting him behind a desk and ending his career as a trial lawyer.
