EEEEK! I'm horrified at so many people here still recommending the old "head under a towel over a bowl of boiling water" steaming thing. Doing that as a teenager only resulted in me getting several burst capillaries on my cheeks due to the heat. If you have sensitive skin it can happen easily.

I had tiny tiny blackheads on my nose for years, too small to squeeze. I started using Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish hot cloth cleanser and they disappeared in a week. It's THE only beauty product I use that costs more than a couple of pounds, and its well worth it. Its entirely natural and my 16 year old son uses it to help his acne, which it does.

Pour some boiling water in a bowl and let the steam open your pores. Once they're open exfoliate to buff away all the dirt that's inside with an exfoliating wash. Rub in with circular movements of the fingers. Wash off and moisturise. The natural way is to eat lots of fruit and vegetables and drink plenty of water.

Megan M is right. Whatever you do, if you have spots, avoid using oily moisture creams at all costs. If you buy a moisturising cream, make sure it is non greasy/oil free. I suggest using Simple shine control moisturiser. I have stopped using these products now and i just use fresh water. I was using superdrugs brand of tea tree, it didn't work out for me though. Steaming your face is the best. It is a natural thing and won't have all of these nasty chemicals in it like these products.

Wash your face with warm water, make sure your hands are clean, nails trimmed short...and make sure the black head is firm enough to come out on its own. My dermatologist told me to NEVER pick at the skin, and break it before pushing it out, this causes scarring. The warm water will open the pores, and soften the skin. If they still don't come out, they probably aren't ready. After rinse with cold water to tighten the pores again.

Wash your face then open the pores by putting your head over a bowl of boiling water with a towel. do this for a few minutes then wash with cool water to close the pores back up.

Remove the top layer of skin with tweezers then squeeze. Dab on zit cream or antibiotic ointment afterward.

Use water as hot as you can stand for as long as you can stand then start squeezing. To help prevent them do not use hand or bath soap on your face. use a product like Nutergina cleanser.

get your face nice and clean with nice warm water and soap, this will cause the pores to relax, then you can have real good fun with a blackhead squeeze fest
