My dad is dieing with cancer, he has a Darrell Waltrip comemorative Case pocket knife that he dearly wants to try to get Darrell to autograph before he dies. As his 16 year old son there is nothing else I would love to get for my daddy who has always done any and everything for me. If you can help me with my quest I would greatly appreciate it and ad you to my prayers. Thanks EJ.

I would suggest doing a google search on DW and finding his home page. I am sure there is a contact option on there. I also believe that they probably try to read almost all the fan mail he gets, so I would suggest putting something in the subject line about what you want. I wish you luck on your quest and I will pray for your father and hope he can overcome his illness and live a long happy life with you.

I heard about a similar situation where someone with a terminal illness wanted to meet Jeff Gordon. What they did was contact a reporter who wrote NASCAR articles and asked if they could ask him. The reporter got ahold of Jeff's PR people and so the person got to meet Jeff Gordon.
So, if none of the other above options work then try to contact a big-name NASCAR reporter.
