No, and you shouldn't be feeding your pets garlic, as it's toxic to them. Garlic, like onions and similar foods can cause haemolytic anaemia (their red blood cells burst whilst in circulation)

No, whoever told you that doesn't know that much about animals.
Go to your local pet store and there is a medicine that is in a liquid form, you put it directly on there skin, once a month. I believe it's called advantage, you can get it threw your Vet or Petsmart, or Petco. Depends on where you live, this will stop the flea's. Remember it is given to them once a month, so when you give the pooch the first time, put a marker on the rest of the months, to remind you he gets it. Good Luck

it works,but it might also help if u got a collar also
i think they work more on like ticks though
