My hamster lived 4 months without water!

Your hamster is a mammal. A mammal must have water to survive. Yours may have made it 4 months because you hopefully are giving it plenty of greens. Why don't you see if someone you know would like to have the hamster if you find it necessary to not provide it with water. I think you that if you are not offering the hamster water that you should not have a hamster and you should not have any pets and you should never have children.

Did you have access to water in his cage and he didn't drink or did you never give him water at all???
You could have been more clear on what you asked...
Nothing on earth lives without water in their system...
They will die without water...
So either your hamster drank some water someplace and you didn't see him drink or he is getting moisture out of his food some way...
You do not seem to be a responsible pet owner if you have to ask this...

No living thing should live without water - it is a basic essential to life. If you didn't give your hamster water on purpose - that was cruel and unessecary. I would hope that you didn't do it on purpose. If you did - you don't deserve to have pets.

Are you nuts? That's cruelty to animals making a hamster live without water. It'll die with water.

they're supposed to have water. Thats not too good that yours lived 4 months without it.

Water? The pet store people never said anthing about water to
me - they just said to buy their brand of hamster food. Maybe
the food has water. Hamsters are too complicated to keep as
pets.

This is ridiculously sad! Do realise that hamsters need water and all animals need water or they'll die. I feel so sorry for your hamster. Please, don't keep water from your animals, it's bad for them.

no freaking way.. it had to have gotten some water somehow... there is NO way that it coulda survived 4 months w/o water... and just WHY did it have no water?
