"Research from Finland, where women use the sauna throughout pregnancy, shows no associated increase in the incidence of foetal anomalies.
Humans, to a great extent, are protected from the effects of heat by regulatory mechanisms in the skin and glands. It has been shown that saunas, Jacuzzis and exercise do not raise the core body temperature by any more than 0.9 degrees C. after 20 minutes.
We cannot be sure so we recommend that women don’t use Jacuzzis during pregnancy. They can become prone to heat exhaustion and dizziness during pregnancy, which is more likely to have detrimental effects for them than for the baby. "
However, while searching I also found mentions of jacuzzi use leading to preterm labor and miscarriages. I used while I was in labor, but not while pregnant. Hope that helps.

DEFINITELY NOT! Jacuzzi baths interrupt the baby's heartbeat and can cause the baby to become stressed. You must avoid them until after you've given birth. After that the baby cannot go in the jacuzzi with you, as again it interrupts the heartbeat.

ok the valid advise in being pregnant is to no longer use jacuzzis, warm tubs or have a warm tub, as they are able to improve your temperature and that's undesirable for the infant and your self. besides the indisputable fact that i'm a warm tub fan, when I found out i exchange into pregnant i all started out in simple terms having heat baths for the 1st few months, yet now (i'm 37+ weeks) i'm going to in many circumstances have a warm tub and take a seat in it for 0.5 an hour or so, i like to study interior the tub, its so relaxing. So the way I see it incredibly is 0.5 an hour won't be able to do any harm, yet once you notice you sense warm, dizzy etc etc then you definately understand its time to get out....

it is not safe at all. a jacuzzi is way too hot for ur baby. also avoid hot baths, showers, or exersize that raises ur heart rate above 140 bpm. if u overheat the baby can't handle it and could cause miscarriage

There is a rare complication called 'air embolism'. If air is blown forcefully up the vagina (like sitting on a water jet) it is potentially fatal. Also, if you are early in your pregnancy and your body temperature is raised too high from being in too hot water, this has been proven to cause birth defects. If you are late in your pregnancy and get overheated it raises the babes heartrate as well, possibly causing too much stress on the baby.

This is a HUGE no-no -- don't put your baby at risk by being in this bacterial pool, and you shouldn't be in hot baths, either.

most doctors will tell you not to sit in hot water for long periods of time....the heat in the water will cause your blood pressure to rise which in turn will cause the blood flow to your baby to decrease
