I just seen the remake of planet of the apes and it wasn't to bad but what was up with the ending? Earth was all apes? Help, I don't get it.

To be honest i have to tell you that i hate remakes. I feel that if then story has already been made into a movie than it shouldn't be used again. However, i think that this planet of the Apes is much better than the original movie, using lots of action and all star make up. This remake was just as good as the old one, if not better.

It ends in an era where all the apes have taken over the world. Police apes, pedestrian apes, all sorts of apes pretending or just are like-humans.
And sadly, all humans , bondaged in the ape-reigned new-world.

Because the space capsule the chimp shows up in...was taken over by an Ape and it went back in time and landed on earth...

There was a Nuclear war and the apes evolved into the dominant species after man decimated themselves.
