im thinking about getting a few games from the sims 2 series for my laptop. i was wondering if anybody has their sims 2 games on their laptop, and if you do, how well does it run? fast, slow, or medium pace. smooth or choppy game play? thanks for the help guys!!

yeah i have my sims2 with all the expansion packs and it runs great after everything is loaded. I have tons of fun playing it on my laptop

Yes I do, for that matter I have Sims2 on two laptops and my daughter has it on one. It works great on hers and one of mine, but my older laptop is freezes up (it's a slow laptop though and older one). The box of Sims2 should tell you what it needs to run correctly, read it before buying it. It's a great game, but be ready to spend endless hours playing it... lol.

I have the Sims 2 on my lap top and it works perfectly fine. Not choppy but smooth at gameplay. I installed it on my fathers lap top also and the gameplay runs smoothly as well!

It should work on your laptop if its a inspiton 6000 as long as its XP it shouldn't cause any problems.
