I don't like dennys, but ihop is even worse! I even almost upchucked after eating a pancake at ihop.

If you're in an area that has them, Shari's beats both hands down. The environment is homier, the people are friendlier, the food is far better, and the prices are similar.
IHOP is ok for breakfast food, since that's what they started with... prime example that I've found that restaurants really should stick with their specialty. Denny's food tends to be greasier, lower quality, and not taste as good as the others.... but Shari's is good all the way around.
