My father was one of the soldiers who liberated Bergen Belsen. He was haunted by what he saw for the remainder of his life.

In some way as in an imprint. You really don't need any visual proof with the available video footage in archives etc. People still want to visit them though. It was one of the greatest wars that people don't want to forget. There are still some buildings standing along with some bunkers. But the camps themselves as far as I know are mostly long gone. There are probably many still buried in mass graves in the woods throughout Europe. So, I would say that the woods and the quarries would be haunted.

How can they not be. For every death there was a horror story all until its self........... When I read some of those stories it kepted me up at night. I Believe that those camps are not only haunted but cursed as well........... If there was ever a case of man's inhumanity to man those camps would be on the top every list that has ever existed .............................................

When I visited Dachau I felt like a great weight was pressing down on me. I don't think any amount of cleansing or whitewashing can get rid of the oppressive sadness inherent to the place. If that's ghosts, so be it, they deserve their due respect.

I would imagine so, seeing as all the innocent lives that were taken there and all the horrible tragedies. I'd say that place holds a lot of 'feelings'.

Most likely no. They have been purified and blessed by many different religions. They are hallowed ground now. If there were angry spirits they would have been put to rest long ago.
