I'm 19 and a virgin and I recently bought a vibrator for beginners. Well, I tried to use it and it got me nowhere. I didn't get wet or anything. I stimulated my clit and that did nothing and when I tried pentration the feeling was not good or bad. Am I sexually defective or is this normal?

You are a beginner, don't try to reach orgasm, get wet, etc. when using your vibrator - try to discover your body. Use the vibrator all over your body just to see which areas are sensitive, which areas tingle, where does the toy tickle you? Once you've done this first step, the rest will come naturally. Don't be preoccupied with your inability to achieve orgasm, it is common. You've got plenty of time to get there, take your time and enjoy the journey.

It is better for you to start by exploring your body. Put your finger into your labia (puss.y lips) and find your clitoris. You gotta know where that is before you go any further. Find it, slide your finger over it, see if you feel sensations. After you do this, play with it for a while and see if you get wet. If you do, continue with your experimenting, use the vibrator by rubbing it up and down inside your labia, hitting the clitoris lightly (you don't want to concentrate the entire vibrator thing on your clit or it might hurt) until you orgasm. If that doesn't work, go back to the finger routine and get things started, then get into the shower and take the shower head and adjust the temperature and pressure and aim it at your clit, letting the water do the massaging. This might be better. But try these things before you give up. I hope you cu.m.

I'm a guy so I'm limited in my knowledge about the female orgasm but I've been told that I've helped women reach it when it's otherwise very hard to reach and in ways not reached before. So I'd first have to ask if there might be some sort of mental block. That could be huge. The key is to relax big time and focus only on your body or someone elses body that turns you on. Focus on your clit and vagina depending on what type of orgasm you're shooting for. I've heard there's two for females. The type focused on the clit or the actual vagina or deep orgasm. Maybe try oral sex with somebody. Whichever way you choose, the only thing I can say is at the crucial moment... sort of tighten you muslces....down there. The same ones you use to stop yourself from peeing. Keagle muscles. If things are going right, your pelvic area, or bone, will sort of arch up. That helps to enhance the use of the keagle muslces to reach orgasm. That's the best answer I can think of but the biggest key to it is mental.

Many women can't at all or have a lot of trouble doing so. So, yes it's normal. Some people like toys a lot and others don't need or want them at all. Maybe a toy isn't what works for you? My hunch is that you are so focused on having an orgasm that you aren't able to really relax and enjoy things--and then you'll never have an orgasm. So, relax, stop giving yourself this huge pressure, just play, do what feels good, stop thinking about having an orgasm and before you know it, you'll be having one.
Good Luck!

There is nothing wrong with you, the vibrator was probably faulty, return it and ask for a refund
Stand up for your consumer rights!
//seriously then, women are not directly physical as men are in their sexuality, frustratingly they are sensual and emotional beings. The vibrator is a physical toy only, if your mind and emotions are not in a sexual mood then no manner of raw physical sensation will move you to orgasm.
The warm sensation and kisses of your lover next to you, your hot breath on his, your love for each other, the corny things he whispers in your ear - these things a vibrator can't do
Try switching off the CNN and think of something romantic instead

Well try thinking about the dirtiest most nastiest thing that you would like done to you while using your toy. Think of it as if someone else was using it on u rather than yourself maybe that will help. Just have fun with it wether or not you have an orgasm.

You might try reading some erotica to set the mood first. If the mind is not excited, the body will not follow.
