I am growing it long so that I can donate it to help cancer patients. In the mean time I want to fix it so that it looks good in the process. Plan to get it cut to just below the sholders in the end. Need help and fast so that I don't get it cut before time. I have to have at least 10 inches to be able to donate for childrens hair. Not very good at styling it on my own.

Growing up I always had the same problem and the way I changed this was getting split ends cut off approximately every 1 1 1/2 months and I have two different types of shampoo. I wash my hair with one for about two days then switch to the other so that it strips the residue from the first one. Also I don't blow dry my hair or curl it except occasionally. Another thing is comb hair when wet then wait until completely dry then brush out to smooth out. I started with shoulder length hair and in about 8 months my hair was almost to my waist.

Just keep it trim and blunt on the ends...that looks best for growing fine hair.

HI, MY SUGGESTION WOULD BE TO KEEP IT LAYERED, THAT WAY IT GIVES THE ILLUSION OF THICKNESS; ALSO A FEATHERED LOOK WOULD WORK TOO.
