That happened to me just this morning. I was asleep and my husband's brother's fiancee showed up. It was my morning to sleep in!!! Hubby came in and said I had company! It was a bummer. Then she wanted to borrow the computer and it is in my bedroom, so I had to run in here and make the bed. Kind of rude, but, truth be told if it had been MY sister or brother it wouldn't have bothered me. But, since it is his family..well...I am just not as comfortable with his family as with my own.

not too much, I work in my garage all day long sometimes and I am forever getting my work interrupted by friends and neighbors. If I really need to do something I will tell them. Once I was doing some gluing and could not stop what I was doing and told the neighbor I wasn't ignoring him, I just can't let the glue dry while the wood was not joined and clamped yet.

Not really, as long as it does not disturbe from what I am doing, and sometimes it feels good too, especially when you did not see the person in a while. I also like to suprise friends like that, just knock at the door and say Hi without staying a minute.

It depends on what time of day that it is and what I have planned for that day. If it is close to meal time or late in the evening when I am relaxing before bed... then yes, it annoys me. At other times, I am glad to have the company and enjoy the unexpected visit.
