Affordable space travel. like it is with air travel now. In five years we'll probably have $100 000 suborbital flights by Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic and in 10 years private trips to Bigelow's inflatable space hotel. And of course you can always book a Russian ship to the International Space Station for around $20 million. That's for me the real conquering of space. And yes we'll probably have a Moon station with 10-15 inhabitants in 10 year and maybe the first visit to Mars. For those against space exploration If it was up to them humanity would still be hanging on tree branches munching bananas (which doesn't sound that bad after all :-)

I think it should be cancelled. That money could be much better spent to help ppl who cant help themselves. There is more than enough problems that need proper attention here on earth.
