when I type "lol"... it usually means "kinda funny" and if I type "haha" then it means I probably laughed out loud.

When I write LoL i just do that. So with lmao and roflol also, I just do that lol.
If look at my body parts (i.e. the hind parts as described by the acronym) or rolling all around the place all at the same time, I may not be concentrating on the keyboard at all. As simple as that.

Usually I chuckle but don't really laugh loudly... sometimes when I play online games I don't even come close to actually laughing, I say lol just as a form of courtesy to someone who said something funny.

I've never been a loud laugher - I'm more of a chuckler, no matter how funny something is.
