My science teacher wants us to do these definations and she didn't explain what they are. We do not have a science book and I can not find them anywhere. Thank you for your help. Here are the words:

(1) Physical property

(2) Physical change

(3) Density

(4) Chemical property

I'll answer what I can. =D

(1) Physical property- Gas, Liquid, Solid

(2) Physical change- When matter changes it's physical property.

(3) Density- Dunno.

(4) Chemical property- Dunno.

(5) Chemical change- When matter changes it's chemical properties. I think.

(6) Melting- Fusion

(7) Melting point- The point where matter begins to melt/fuse.

(8) Freezing- When liquid is changed into solid.

(9) Freezing point- The point where liquid begins to harden into solid.

(10) Evaporation- When Liquid turns into gas.

(11) Boiling- The act of changing liquid to gas.

(12) Boiling point- Point where liquid begins to change into gas.

(13) Condesation- When Gas turns to Liquid.

(14) Sublimation- I think this is when Solid turns into gas.

1)physical property=whether it is solid, liquid or gas.
2)physical change= if the mass & volume of the substance changes.
3)Density= m not getting words to xplain.
4)Chemical property=of which components, the substance is made up of? e.g. Water=H2O, Carbon Dioxide=CO2.
5)Chemical Change= if the chemical components gets changed.
6)Melting=the change in the substance from solid form to liquid form is called melting.
7)Melting point=the point(degree Celcius or Fehrenheit) at which the solid form of the substance starts to convert into liquid form.
8)Freezing=the change in the substance from liquid form to solid form is called freezing.
9)Freezing point=the point(degree Celcius or Fehrenheit) at which the liquid form of the substance starts to convert into solid form.
10)Evaporation=the change of a liquid to a gaseous state is called evaporation.
11)Boiling=the stage where liquid turns to gaseous.
12)Boiling Point=the point(degree Celcius or Fehrenheit) at which the liquid starts to convert into gaseous form.

14)sublimation=method of water purification

A lot of questions not worth answering for 10 points. But do a google search and you will get all the answers. Just type in the words and search.
To get a simple definition for these , look them up in a DICTIONARY !!
