I think Guild Wars is very good. One time fee, buy the game and you get four slots. No monthly membership. Lots of guilds for you to join or play it solo, most high level chara will help you out.

not like runescape,but its an rpg game and
its a a good game.Its called Zeus' Legacy.
Free,fun,worthwhile,and non-download.

I would recommend Battlefield 2142. It is a new first person shooting game that just came out. It is pretty fun and challenging.
