once the war in Iraq was mishandled after the occupation started, that's late in 2003, it was already too late...the insurgency was in place. It was in place because the Admin. did not give the old Iraqi army a place in the government and jobs. these guys knew how to fire rifles and be soldiers...they might not have been good regular soldiers, but they are great for doing mischief.

So how do you suggest regular Americans deal with the fact that the Admin. has bungled it and continues to throw resources and men into a situation that is: 1) not support by most Americans 2) is likely to continue for at least 4 years if we are to win something out of it (how can we leave Iraq and all that oil to the first group that takes control, we have to stay)

If Bush and his Admin, people like Rumsfelt. had done a good job in planning and executing this without making it a political trophy (filling all levels of the governemnt with parrtisan appointees). The rest of us wouldn't have anything to ***** about.

I'm not for just leaving Iraq to the insurgents, but the Republicans deserve every problem they have with the political situation here.

I assume you mean "the media helping terrorsist" to mean breaking the news aboiut wire tapping and other illegal activities by the Admim....if he did not want the media to tell us he was breaking the laws, he should have done it legally, instead of doing it the easy way. I remember Gonzales telling the Senate that it would have been too difficult to follow the FISA law...THAT IS NO EXCUSE.

If Bush had not lied to the Congress, the UN, and the American People in order to get these troops into Iraq in the first place, I dare say they would not be dying there.

And I don't think the terrorists / insurgents in Iraq need MSNBC to tell them they are winning. It should be pretty obvious to them, when a terrorist militia can hold a parade within two blocks of a US base, and the US does nothing.

The people who have helped the terrorists the most are the ones who have destroyed homes, killed innocents, and set up a government that does nothing to help the citizens. This gives the terrorists a rallying cry that can be heard from Indonesia to Libya.

Ya know?

Nonsense. Soldiers die because they are fighting against people in their own country who don`t want them there. To them the soldiers are illegal invaders and so should be fought. As for the terrorist issue, well, there will always be people willing to take up arms for a cause, however misguided we may see it. American`s who battled the British during the American revolution were nothing more than terrorists in the modern sense. history now portrays these people as hero`s when at the time they were little more than bloodthirsty murderers. The media tends to sensationalise pretty much anything it can just to make a bigger bang. The business of fear sells more copy.

I 100% agree with dingdong. But also like to mention that Anti-War activists aren't Pro-Terrorists at all. I think most Americans feel and believe that the world revolves only around them. but uhmmm....wouldn't our men be considered terrorists in a foreign land. After all, the word "terrorist" describes a person that is causing "terror"; so, if we're out in their land killing innocent civilians and raping their women and daughters, then setting them on fire...is that not an act of "terrorism" on our part?

Consider how CNN is more than willing to show the terrorist towel head sniper in action NOW, (three weeks before the election) killing an American soldier... Funny but CNN can't seem to find it in themselves to show how American-Coalition-Iraqi forces are killing terrorist towel heads in their thousands...

Anderson Cooper of CNN had this response: "Whether or not you agree with us in this case, our goal, as always, is to present the unvarnished truth as best we can"...

Consider Jordan Eason once a CNN honcho and how dishonest he was to those who think CNN is reporting the news...

Eason was pandering to Hussein...

Note how lib-tard publications like The American Prospect whine about how conservative bloggers are outting people like Jordan: "From our April issue: Pseudo-journalistic Web sites are another way conservatives get around “the filter” of mainstream media. It’s a new medium, but, for the Republican Party, it’s an old story. "

Yeah, I can see why The American Prospect would whine since outting the lib-tards being foisted off as 'news reporters' sort of undercuts the collective stance on lib-tards and their treasonous whinings and actions...

Consider how some Democratic party lib-tard,"Larry Hanauer" working House Intelligence Committee apparently leaked classified documents to the New York Times...

Note how the lib-tards have a long & dispicable track record of being seditious swine: "Kengor focuses on a KGB letter written at the height of the Cold War that shows that Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) offered to assist Soviet leaders in formulating a public relations strategy to counter President Reagan's foreign policy and to complicate his re-election efforts.

The letter, dated May 14, 1983, was sent from the head of the KGB to Yuri Andropov, who was then General Secretary of the Soviet Union's Communist Party."...

One could run out of room detailing the seditious & sleazy behavior of the dim-witted Dems and their lib-tard allies but at least you get some of the picture...

true and not true. for one they only report american deaths we might have lost 10 guys but we managed to capture a stronghold and kill 60 of them. Sooooo pestimistic but no that jsut rips the nation apart so when our boys come home they get discrimminated. anyway the only way they could kill people is if they told iraqis our plans but the only way they get those plans is when our MILITARY gives it to them so no tey may b nagative but they rnot responsible about deaths.

Media and Anti-War proponents should stop giving aid to terrorists because it is worst to know that innocent civilians are being blasted by bombs.
