that finds ultrasounds umbearable.I dread them simply because betime i drink the litre of water and then hold for an hour im basically peeing myself before i even get in the room.I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life i don t even get time to enjoy the pictures of my bub cos i just rush the doc along through it so i can go pee.Maybe my bladder fills quicklier than others.

hahah the thing is the lady behind the reception desk watches me like a hawk and if she sees me go the toilet to empty some she tells me off its rather embarrasing especially in a waiting room full of people

I think it's absolutely humiliating. I had three sonograms done, and each one I had to wait an hour past my appt time. I finally went to the bathroom cuz I really just couldn't hold it anymore. The sonographer was understanding. But how do these guys expect a pregnant women to hold more water than is physically possible?!?!? It's not fair!

No I think everyone goes through that. With my son I had to wait even longer because he wouldn't turn his face. The tech left the room to go get someone else and was gone about 10 minutes. then another tech comes in and buzzes my stomach for another 10 minutes before my son turned his head around. I wasa in there for over an hour and a half. I was shocked I actually made it to the restroom

I hate it too. But for the sonogram in my last trimester, they did not make me drink water and you could see the baby perfectly fine. Something to look forward to.

no believe me pregnant woman have to go to the bathroom alot more even if you dont have that much to go it seems like you have been holding it for ever and im sorry to say it will not end until labor

Try not drinking the litre, but i know! it's like they take the sonagram machine and push directly on your bladder.....

no your not,,lol,, when i had mine i was going crazy lol,,, i drank so much water that when they were doing the ultrasound the made me go pee 7 cups full cuz they couldn't see the baby,, it was like a ocean in my tummy,,lol,,,,

no they have to hurry up and take the pictures for me so that I can pee its embarrasing to see but I have to bring extra undies for the leakage

I FEALT LIKE THAT TOO JUST TELL THEM YOU NEED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM.MY DAUGHTER HAS ULTRASOUNDS AND THEY DIDN'T MAKE HER DRINK WATER JUST PEE BEFORE YOU GO IN THERE HOLDING ALL THAT IN YOUR BLATTER IS NO GOOD FOR YOU.ALSO I HATED THAT JELLY THEY PUT ON ME TOO.

nope you're not the only one. i hated it too. i wish they'd get better equipment or something so we wouldn't have to do that.
