DEFINITELY Bohr. Bohr's ideas changed the way people viewed the universe forever. Tesla was an inventor that changed the world, but not the way we look at it. Actually the more I think about it the more I realize that these two scientists are not even comparable. It's apples and oranges. One made a great discovery and one made a great invention.

Definitely Tesla for me.
Bohr made some great discoveries about quantum mechanics and the atom, but there were many right on his heels. If it had not been for Bohr then I think another would have been quick to make these discoveries.
Tesla was much further ahead of the curve in his field. He invented AC as a more transferable means of actually delivering electricity to people. He was prescient in his understanding of how useful electrical technologies would be to mankind. He designed the first hydroelectric plant ever at Niagara Falls and was not only the first to recognize its great benefit to industry and people, but could see the duality of his invention. He also invented radio, phosphorescent lights, spark plugs, the fundamentals of wireless technology, and much more. A great many of the conveniences we take for granted today can be traced back to their origins in Tesla's work.
Tesla put all of his money back into his work and was practically penniless at the end of his life. He was driven to invent for the sake of helping people and made next to nothing for his most important inventions.
Strangely, I think part of what resonates with me so strongly about Tesla is the tragic quality his life. After all that he had accomplished he was alone, spending his time in the park tending to pigeons. ...and I think the condition of his success, the duality of it, it's great benefit as well as the burden placed on our environment to now supply us with our energy needs to continue this standard of living, is more relevant today than ever, which makes his story important.
Tesla was also something of a wordsmith...
"“The scientists of today think deeply instead of clearly. One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite insane.”
or.....
"If we were to release the energy of the atoms or discover some other way of developing cheap and unlimited power at any point of the globe this accomplishment, instead of being a blessing, might bring disaster to mankind... The greatest good will come from the technical improvements tending to unification and harmony..."
and again...
"There is no thing endowed with life - from man, who is enslaving the elements, to the nimblest creature - in all this world that does not sway in it's turn. Whenever action is born from force, though it be infinitesimal, the cosmic balance is upset and the universal motion results."
Bohr was great, but not exactly a good read.

Bohr, I was just admited into NYU hospital and my roomate, a smallish Indian pysics prof was a classmate with Bohr's son, how cool is that! Besides I never new Tesla till the band came out. Without Bohr we never could have made a nuke.

Tesla, his ideas were extraordinary and ingenious, too bad he wasn't around longer, and too bad most of his research isnt reproduced in the same interests of his time..now

Neither . . . Boltzmann.
Reason: Staistical mechanics. Information theory meets entropy.
