No, it is NOT normal to have blood in your urine. It is known as "hematuria" (not hemaspermia as someone said earlier) among us in the medical field. The clots you describe sound very much like what we call "red cell casts" which can possibly be a sign of any number of renal (kidney) problems.
If you neglect this, an infection can likely spread from your kidney and disseminate into your blood stream causing septic shock and possibly death.
Go see a urologist as soon as you can.

People of any age can have blood in the urine or semen (hematospermia). This may be a sign of urinary tract infection. No, it is not normal. Please seek your primary care physician for a urinalysis.
p.s. my son who is age 6 recently had bloody urine with no other signs and symptoms. i took him immediately to the doctor and he was diagnosed with UTI. If untreated, it will get progressively worst (affecting bladder control, reproductive function, sterility etc).

My parents always had to be different (and save a few bucks), so they got me the Odyssey 2 instead of the Atari. It was called KC Munchkin on that. In the arcades, I didn't like Pac-Man much -- I was more into spaceship and tank games, such as Time Pilot. That is a lost era -- arcades really aren't what they were. They're for babies, now.

No not normal, but keep in mind semen is made of blood. Check with a specialist, not us. 90%of us are probably guessing.
