Do you ever notice that the more upscale clothing stores (Bebe, Guess, Coach) give better service and are friendly no matter what. Whereas the common-er stores (Hollister, AE, Macy's) are sometimes rude and try to seem snotty on purpose. Sometimes I think they're trying to attract business way too hard. What do you think?

Yeah, I noticed. Hollister and Abercrombie are mostly rude and stuff. It's not just the upscale stores who give better service. Hot Topic people are so friendly. Basically, any store that isn't for preps gives good customer service.

Best Service = Men's Warehouse. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly service who seem more concerned with getting your repeat business than getting the heighest commission from a sale.

Worst Service = Hudson's, oh wait I mean Marshall Field's, uh no I mean Macy's. Whatever they're calling themselves now. I walked in the front doors from the mall entrance and picked up the store directory assistance phone only to end up having one of the worst and snottiest conversations with the "@$$istant" on the other end. I immediately walked out and haven't been back since.

Of course upscale stores give better customer service because they get paid more. At the same time, I think Old Navy has pretty good customer service.
