Stay away from over the counter decongestants! Most women will complain of a stuffy nose early in pregnancy because of the hormones. IF a cold is coming on, use natural remedies. Eating hot salsa always helps clear the sinuses as well as Tabasco. Build your immune system up by taking extra Vit C, as in Orange Juice and chewables. Adding some garlic to your cooking is also a way since garlic is a natural antibiotic. You can use essential oils like mint, spearmint and eucalyptus. You can add it to some massage oil and ask for a massage! Good luck I hope this helps.

I would suggest menthol lozenges or Vick Vapor Rub and little bit of mama's chicken soup. If that doesnt do the trick, then use a nasal spray. That will give you more of a local effect instead of taking a pill.

There isn't anything that is recommended. Most are schedule C which means they have signs to show affects of the fetus. The best is sitting with a humidifyer and steamy shower. Vik's vapro rub would be o.k. Hang in there the best you can and try to deal with it. I hope you feel better.

Well there are two principles. One, everything you take will effect the baby. Two, a little wont hurt.

I say, play it safe and use menthalatum. Use a humidifier and deal with it.

Otherwise acetaphenomin is generally safe, but I subscribe to the first principle. See the doctor if it just wont go away.

Hot tea with honey, no sugar, no milk. Try chamomile, or a mint tea.

You can also try a hot, steamy shower. That might help you decongest.

Get well soon.
