Ok I know it sounds stupid but...I just wondered, besides the fact that humans just seem to be out to kill others sometimes...what if instead of wars with...real guns, bombs, tanks, etc...we had paintball...really stupid i know but i think it would work because i know not everyone would accept but it would be which ever country has the most people down by the end of the day, week, etc...loses...very utopian to even think it would actually be accepted by everyone... but what would some of you think if this was actually considered by govts?

yeah, I know thats the main problem, no one would agree..and I also thought about the whole, tanks and everything.. I know there are paint bombs and all...which i think would def come into play in war, along with tanks, as well as like..idk..airplanes etc.

Yes, finally someone who thinks like I do, only I wanted to get them all together and fill a stadium with mud and let em have at it wrestling!
It's especially frustrating because most of our conflicts essentially boil down to religion, especially the Big Three who supposedly have at their core the whole idea of peace and nonviolence, cheek turning, thou shalt not kill, etc.
We could ritualize and religisize the whole process and keep the bloodshed to a minimum!

Warfare is, in itself, merely a show of brute force. Those that take innocent lives and enjoy placing fear and intimidation into others I highly doubt would find flying paint balls a legitimate means to remove them from power. Now granted it would be amusing to watch =)

Because a loser will always contest a result promoting an arguement which would lead to a real war!

it wouldn't work egos would still get in the way they'd just compete over who had the biggest bruise and finish up smacking each other with the guns...nobody does anything for fun anymore.. it's a sad fact

narr too many people would cheat by rubbing off the paint and carrying on playing, plus they might complain that it hurts when shot in the head

Paintball is only for games and cannot be used to settle disputes.

Hey! I LIKE your way of thinking!

I'll vote for you.

What a fabulous and relatively harmless way to solve conflict!
