Have u experienced missing an object when u really know where u placed it, then all of a sudden hours or days after you'll find it on the exact same spot where u placed it? (even if u know nobody would take it or there's no person to meddle with your stuffs)...

Apparently, someone or something likes whatever it is that came up missing. They didn't want to keep it, because it was not given, so they brought it back and put it back where they got it. You should thank them for the return of the item and leave them something that they can keep. It would need to be something similar to what was missing. Like if it was a mirror, then leave them an old compact or something like that. Let them know that this one is for them though.

I am 78 years old and have this experience all the time! The problem is that I also had it throughout my life, so I have always been absentminded. I can be certain I put something in a specific place and find it somewhere else a month later!

I hope you are as young as you sound - it surely would make me feel good!

Its simple. The object whatever you have placed in one place is there, it your mind that is not recognising it. This happens when you are stressed or tired or exhausted or in a hurry.
Specially when your in a hurry, u forget many things. Eg, All of a sudden you want to go on a trip with a friend and he is coming to pick you up in 10 minutes or so. U without losing anytime, start to pack up and with confusion, pack this and that and etc and when ur in the middle of the journey with ur friend, u remember u forgot your Tooth Brush and the Tooth Paste along with your Towel and etc.
Dont think its mysterious, its your brain.

Yes, first in our office, I put my bunch of keys in my bag and pretty sure of that, when I reached home to search for it, there was no keys in my bag, three weeks pass, on Holy Thursday, I noticed the key on top of my CPU, the people in the office that time is only three including myself and my other two colleagues are far from my location.
The second is in my current apartment, my sister has put down her eyeglasses on top of our sofa, she's very sure that she left it on the sofa, we search the whole area top, bottom, and even removed the foam, but nothing, until she again visited us and lift the foam where she is telling and wallah! the eyeglass was there, how could it be? For sure we will find it in that location, I am sure I never missed that place. I was resting one day on the sofa, with eyes close, then, I immediately woke up and saw an old man who tried to come near me and he saw that I can see him also, but to myself then, I want to wake up, because I cant move myself, my mind is the only conscious, when I woke up, I saw who did that thing.

yeah.... it's weird huh?

I am actually writing a story where that is the focus...
I don't want to give too much away but this has happened to me and many people I know and it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up....

what's worse - have you ever been standing alone in a room and then you walk out and then say.... about 15-30 minutes later, you realize that there was someone standing in the room that you just didn't "notice".... like, if you did notice them, you would have had a heart attack....
....creepy....

before a dear friend of mine passed away, he would irritate his dad by hiding the remote in different wierd places in the house, such as in cabinets and out in the car, things like that. now that he is gone, the dad still finds the remote in strange places like that. and once i searched for mine for a couple of days, then finally got a new one, went to throw out the trash and the old one was sitting on top of the dumpster.

Yes. Once my dog did it. Her "mother" (the older dog) had died and I put her pillows up that she used to sit under the window on. I knew I put them up and then they were back by the window again. It happened several times and I wondered if I was losing my mind. Then one day she dragged a pillow out in front of me and took it to the window. And some people think animals have no soul!

you could answer a query with a query then edit whilst somone provides info--it in all fairness elementary prepare. in simple terms FYI. lol'd at Lord Jeeves. "15 year previous woman"; "black-out eating?" surely, same ingredient happens to me. it incredibly is a area-consequence of severe disorganization, no longer something religious or conniving. i've got actually set something down, left for ten minutes, come returned, and that is long previous, in basic terms to take place on the kitchen counter 3 months later, I stay on my own.
