What has been the Australian public's response to the new cigarette packaging?

The new Australian cigarette warnings are a graphic undignified display of human pathology. How do people behind cash registers deal with seeing these images all day long? How to people go through the day after being confronted with such grotesque photographs?

I think everyone is pretty numb to this sort of thing nowadays, look at the carnage that was shown of late on news casts, etc from Israel / Lebanon - no contest and we're all ok.

They are very good though - might be a wake up call for some. I think the gangrene riddled foot is the best
