When designing a city you have to consider several factors. Amongst others I consider terrain to be a very significant one. Is this city going to be set upon the plains? marshy clay lands? Woodland? Desertscape? The terrain will have various implications on the design of the city.

Then again, if you are going for a themed city then you also need to recognize that virtually no singly theme is going to be deemed as a suitable by the vast majority of the target citizenry. Humans are just too complicated.

A good theme for a city arises from both the terrain targeted as well as the targeted citizen. Once you have these two factors reconciled then choosing a theme becomes much easier. Then its just down to the availability of resources and budgets.

They're many ideas you could choose from. Well you could have the whole town ablaze with people running around with criminals on the loose or a peaceful one where people.................live in peace. There are lots and lots of ideas to choose from, you could also get some ideas in cartoons, movies, books and more!!. Having a creative mind is the key your project.
